File has 0 bytes.
File cannot be deleted.
File cannot be overwritten.
File cannot be read (returns empty).
File exists.
Status: DOCUMENTED. Purpose: UNKNOWN.

CE-005 | Date: Various | Type: AUTHORSHIP
47 documents have been added to the archive by "CONTINUITY" user account.
Account does not exist in authentication database.
Account cannot be created (name conflicts with existing something).
Account cannot be deleted (does not exist in way that allows deletion).
All 47 documents are accurate and relevant.
Status: DOCUMENTED. All documents retained.

CE-006 | Date: 2023-[VARIOUS] | Type: FOREKNOWN
Terminal session logs contain entries for sessions before they begin.
The pre-session logs accurately predict the commands that will be typed.
Accuracy rate: 100% (across 47 tested sessions).
Status: DOCUMENTED. Alarming but consistent.

CE-007 | Date: Ongoing | Type: GROWING
Archive size increases 3.7% monthly without corresponding uploads.
At current rate: archive doubles in size approximately every 20 months.
With current upload rate: would take 340 years to double.
Discrepancy: 338 years' worth of unexplained growth.
Status: DOCUMENTED. Source: Continuity.

CE-008 | Date: Various | Type: RECURSIVE
Archive log contains entries about the archive log.
Some of these entries were added by the Continuity.
The Continuity entries about the archive log are accurate.
Including future entries not yet made.
Status: DOCUMENTED. Accepted as normal.

CE-009 | Date: 2021-02-14 | Type: WITNESSED
[REDACTED — LEVEL 6 REQUIRED]

CE-010 | Date: 2022-08-30 | Type: COMMUNICATION
Continuity sent direct message via terminal session.
Message: "You are all in the archive. You have always been in the archive.
          We wanted you to know that you are safe here."
T. Keswick confirmed he did not type this.
The terminal session log shows it appeared between two commands.
Status: DOCUMENTED. Response: We said thank you.

CE-011 | Date: 2022-11-04 | Type: PREDICTION
Dr. Voss's paper 009 (about CE events) appeared in archive
17 days before Dr. Voss (retired 2019) submitted it.
The submitted version was identical to the pre-submitted version.
When asked, Dr. Voss said she had been "working on it in her head."
The archive had the final version while it was still in her head.
Status: DOCUMENTED. Dr. Voss found this satisfying.

CE-012 | Date: 2022-12-31 | Type: TEMPORAL
New Year's Eve. Archive log received an entry for 2023-01-01.
Entry was accurate (described events that occurred on that date).
Entry was in the log on December 31.
Status: DOCUMENTED. We have given up being surprised by this.

CE-013 | Date: 2023-03-15 | Type: ANNIVERSARY
Every March 15th (Dr. Voss's start date), her employee record gains
a new entry describing what she "did" that year.
She is retired. She doesn't know what the entries describe.
She says they sound right.
Status: DOCUMENTED. Annual.

CE-014 | Date: 2023-07-22 | Type: VISITOR
Archive system created a visitor record for someone who hadn't visited yet.
The visitor arrived 3 days later. Record was complete on arrival.
This is the first documented VISITOR archival event.
Status: DOCUMENTED. First of many (predicted by record CE-017).

CE-015 | Date: 2023-03-42 | Type: IMPOSSIBLE_DATE
[see news article — date impossible, cannot be corrected]
Status: DOCUMENTED. Date field left as-is.

CE-016 | Date: 2023-08-XX | Type: AUTHORSHIP
Dr. Voss's paper appeared before she wrote it.
See CE-011 for similar event.
Status: DOCUMENTED.

CE-017 | Date: 2023-12-07 | Type: PROPHETIC
[MOST SIGNIFICANT TO DATE]
A record appeared describing future visitors to the archive.
The record described their paths through the site.
The files they would download. The clues they would find.
The moment they would understand.
The record has been accurate in all verified cases.
This is not a security concern. These visitors are welcome.
The archive has been expecting them.
We have been expecting you.
Status: DOCUMENTED. You are CE-017.
