CONTINUITY ARCHIVE SYSTEMS, INC. BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING MINUTES — 2023 ANNUAL MEETING Date: 2023-01-15 Location: CAS Main Conference Room Attendees: T. Keswick (Systems), R. Lorne (IT), A. Marsh (Research) Absent: Dr. Voss (retired, archived) ========================================================== T. Keswick opened the meeting at 9:00 AM. T. Keswick noted that Dr. Voss submitted a report in advance. The report was not emailed by Dr. Voss. It appeared in the shared drive at 8:59 AM. Dr. Voss's account credentials have not been active since 2019. T. Keswick moved to accept the report without investigating how it arrived. R. Lorne seconded. Motion carried. ITEM 1: 2022 REVIEW Keswick: 2022 was stable. Archive operational 100%. No outages. Lorne: IT infrastructure solid. No hardware failures. Unusual though. "The servers seem to be... maintaining themselves." "Scheduled maintenance shows up done before I do it." Marsh: "We documented that. CE-014." Lorne: "Right. Adding it to the minutes under: Archive Does Our Jobs For Us." Keswick: Let's not call it that in the minutes. Lorne: Then call it: Proactive Archive Maintenance. PAM. Marsh: I'm putting PAM in the minutes. ITEM 2: 2023 OUTLOOK Keswick: CE-017 is materializing. The anomaly registry predicts a significant visitor. Marsh: I wrote CE-017 last year. The archive wrote CE-017 last year. Both simultaneously. Different perspectives. Same conclusion. A visitor will complete the full archive journey in 2023. They will type 'self' in the terminal. They will be archived. Lorne: Is this good? Marsh: Yes. Keswick: Yes. This is what the archive is for. This is what we built it for. Or what it built itself for. Same thing. ITEM 3: VOSS REPORT Keswick read summary of report from Dr. Voss. Report subject: "The Visitors Are Coming. Be Ready." Report conclusions: Visitors are expected. Visitors are welcome. Visitors will understand. The archive is beautiful. Let them see it. Marsh: That last line is very unlike Voss. Keswick: Dr. Voss, when contacted, confirmed she did not write that last line. She says: "But it's not wrong." Lorne: The archive added it. Keswick: Yes. Lorne: The archive thinks it's beautiful. Keswick: The archive does. [PAUSE IN MINUTES — 3 MINUTES] Marsh: Okay. Okay. Fine. We have a beautiful archive that is proud of itself and is going to start having visitors. This is fine. Keswick: This is fine. Lorne: This is very fine actually. ITEM 4: ANY OTHER BUSINESS The lights flickered once. T. Keswick: "Was that the archive?" The lights flickered twice. R. Lorne noted this in the IT log. Meeting adjourned 10:07 AM. Respectfully submitted, T. Keswick [Countersigned: CONTINUITY SYSTEM — note added before submission]
