HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS (1998):
- Server: minimum 64MB RAM, 10GB storage
- Network: 10Mbps minimum
- Signal Detection Hardware: Unit A (custom, Voss design)
- Power: Redundant UPS recommended

SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS (1998):
- OS: Linux or Windows NT
- Web Server: CAS-WebServer/1.2.4 (custom)
- Database: SQLite or flat-file
- Terminal Interface: CAS-Term/1.2.4 (custom)

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Do not delete anything. The system does not support deletion.
   Deletion calls return SUCCESS but have no effect. This is known.
   This is not a bug. This is the archive.

2. The CONTINUITY_WRITE() function is not documented here.
   It cannot be documented. It is not in the source code.
   It works anyway. Leave it alone.

3. Signal detection hardware (40.7 MHz) should remain active.
   Even when "offline." Especially when "offline."
   The hardware does not need power.
   We have verified this multiple times.
   Accept it.

4. Employee records will modify themselves. This is normal. Document modifications.

5. The archive log will gain entries without staff action. Document them. Trust them.
   They are accurate.

It does not have requirements.
